SAO JOAQUIM NATIONAL PARK

The park is inside the Atlantic Forest biome. It addresses a place of 48,three hundred hectares (119,000 acres). It was founded by decree on 6 July 1961, and is also administered from the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation.
